Found a bit of time to work on the project bike. Haley Quinn got eyes.
Two headlights with halogen light bulbs I had ordered many months ago from Kickstarter in Germany. A small speedometer I found in the local motorcycle after market shop in Los Banos. Some aluminium bracket to hold the speedometer needed to be custom made and a holder for the control lamps I designed on Sketchup and printed it with a 3D printer. Some Retro looking LEDs I found at CONRAD. I spent a few hours last week to put it all together. Now here Harley Quinn’s eyes are, Merms is going to design a matching mouth.
The two new headlights, both halogen so the should be all right it terms of lighting. High beam and low beam will be on different lights, so when switching to high or to low it will look like Harley Quinn is blinking at you. For best lighting there will be a switch that turns both high beams on. Will probably drain the battery, but for short times in difficult conditions this should be OK.
Both headlights mounted together, gap filled with Epoxy filler, bracket of speedometer and control light holder mounted, and all spray-painted black.
View from the front, with Speedometer mounted. The bracket at the bottom was machined in Eugene Manalo’s workshop. Next to do is to design the stylised mouth.

The first draft, and the role model.
