I can relate
Just started to watch the new show with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman.
They look quite a bit older since:
- The long way around
- The long way down
- The Long way up
I can relate to being older. 🙂
In their new show they are riding around Europe on 50 year old motorbikes, a BMW R75 and a Moto Guzzi 1974 California police bike based on the V7. During my student days I owned a BMW R75/5 and now I own one again in the Philippines. During my high school days I owned a „Moto Guzzy V7 Special“. So I can claim to have lots of riding experience on both of their bikes. I can relate. 🙂
I am already invested in the show 🙂 , just because of the bikes they are riding.
The first show was on choosing the bikes (well done) and preparations. The second on driving through England, stopover in Amsterdam, then riding through Northern Germany and Denmark.
I am really looking forward to my „Celtic Whiskey Run“ on my “almost vintage” BMW GS80 / GS100 to Amsterdam, Belgium, Scotland and Ireland this summer.
