I have seen it several times recently, and had some near crash experiences. Red headlights on vehicles. Mostly on motorbikes but also on cars. And recently twice on our local drive close to home.
You drive at night and overtake a slow moving vehicle in front of you assuming that the vehicle with the red lights far ahead is driving in in the same direction like you are because you think you see red tail lights, just to find out that it is actually coming towards you, on head-on collision course, very fast. How much of your brain do you have to have removed that you find this is a cool idea?
Please have some decency and commit suicide somewhere else, without endangering others.
Not to mention all the other nonsense. Flashing white front lights, flashing brake lights. Green lights. Lights all over the vehicle. Rolling christmas trees on the road. Do people, who install these, know that flashing lights can trigger epilepsy attacks?
Another nonsense that probably costs lives. Blue lights on many vehicles. Flashing or not flashing. In other countries blue lights are reserved for emergency vehicles. Fire trucks, ambulances, police. When you see blue you know you need to get out of the way, and drivers do get out of the way quickly, thus help saving lives. Having all these blue lights on every other vehicle I am sure thousands of lives get lost here unnecessarily because people don’t clear the roads fast enough when one of those emergency vehicles needs to get through.
The police could get rich by just charging everybody the official fine when they have illegal lights on their bikes or cars. At least half of the vehicles have.
