I used to be a first adopter of everything new. Not anymore. My motorbike is 45 years old and I fix everything myself. Today I got locked out of my hotel room, got stuck in the elevator, and had to go to the reception twice because the bloody RIFD card did not work. What’s wrong with an old fashioned key? Oh yes, right. More difficult to trace what you do with it.

Martint No, it wasn’t. It also happens in other hotels. In India I had to go to the reception twice a day because the card was not working. I did not complain about the hotel, I complained about modern technology.
