A single-engine single-seat fighter triplane aircraft produced by the German manufacturer Fokker Aeroplanbau GmbH, designed by Reinhold Platz. The most famous plane was the unit 425/17 of Manfred Freiherr von Richthofen, also known as the Red Baron. This AIRFIX model resembled .
The model kit was rather simple:
But the little airplane was cute.
Initially I built the model without painting it. It was made from red plastic. Later, when I got more skilled in building models, I repainted all of them and the little Triplane got an additional red coat and decals in paint too, since the original water soluble ones did not stick well on plastic and disintegrated.
