i wonder why this is different
I am European with long legs. To be able to fly with most Asian airlines I have to pay extra for a seat with more leg space. For me that is a clear case of discrimination. I remember a check-in where I had 5 kg too much luggage. The ground staff charged me overweight luggage. When I pointed at a huge passenger weighing at least 150kg checking in at the next counter and said „what about him, I weigh at least 50kg less than him, should‘t i be allowed more luggage?“ the person at the counter said: „Sorry Sir, we don‘t discriminate.“
How is that different to using the leg length as a criteria for an additional payment? Both not the fault of the customer. Hypocritical behavior of the airline. #airlines #airtravel #discrimination
